ESTATE SALE - POLLY WASHER OF MURRAY, KENTUCKY Mrs. Polly (McCullough) Washer was born in Puryear, Tennessee in 1927. In 1946 she graduated from Tolers Business College with a degree in business. She moved to Murray, Kentucky in 1950 and married Merlin Washer of Murray. While she loved gardening and yard work, she also held many positions in the community which included employment at the Puryear Bank, the Telephone Company and Murray Calloway County Hospital. Mrs. Washer was an avid collector of antiques and spent almost 50 years working on the collection we are presenting in this estate sale. She loved Victorian, Primitive, Salt Glaze Pottery, Furniture, Lamps, Needlepoint, fine Glassware, Wicker and Wrought Iron Furniture. Her collection includes a wide selection of antiques from small glassware to furniture items. |
